Frank Schwinn is a producer and musician in the field of electronic music/jazz

He was born and raised in Germany, where he made his first steps on the guitar.
After studying music in Germany and Austria he settled in Vienna and soon became one of the most respected guitar players for improvised music in Austria.

He has played with some of the "big names" like Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano, Gunther Schuller, Zach Danziger, Jamey Haddad, Kenny Wheeler a.o. and appeared on many important festivals like Montreal, Toronto, Jazzfestival Saalfelden, Krakau etc.

After years of playing jazz on the guitar he shifted interests towards more open musical concepts and got addicted to electronic music in all its colours from ambient, clicks´n cuts to techno.

since 2000 he was mainly producing his own music trying to be unique and original on every track.
In 2007/2008 he fell in love with the guitar again and is playing gigs/ recording CDs with his Gibson J-45 and his Engst "savoy"

He also is working as mixer/remixer and soundengineer for other artists.
